About

I am a visual artist, graphic designer, and motion designer located in Winnipeg, Canada.

I began working semi-regularly at the age of 17, and have never stopped.

I enjoy acrylic painting, but also dabble in illustration, writing, and photography.

I am most interested in abstract work in the form of portraits and colour fields, oftentimes with tonal or emotional impressions rather than spatial.

Much of my favourite work belongs to the mid-century abstract expressionists. Specifically Mark Rothko, Lee Krasner, Joan Mitchell, and WIllem de Kooning.

I have spent time exclusively in black and white, as well as full colour painting.

I rarely paint with specific results in mind. However I have worked on commissions with some expectations, and am open to such work.
